“I’m going to be placing this tv on my mantle (10inch wide) will my sound bar fit over the stand? How flat is the stand base?”

• The base is a flat surface, but it slopes down toward the viewer at a few degrees from horizontal. The distance from the bottom of the screen to the top of the base is only about an inch, so a soundbar would probably partially obscure the screen unless it's extremely thin.

• There is a slight angle to the stand. I'm attaching a pic so you can see it. You are looking at the side of the base in the pic. I have it laying on top of my subwoofer so the flat part is the sub so you can see it has a bit of a slight angle up.
