LG does it again.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best OLED TV for those that can go around the thousand dollar range (on sale) in budget. Colors are crisp and blacks are dark, lots of different modes for what you are watching make it very easy for a user to pick what they need. Gaming on the TV offers 120 HZ, and very low input lag. Remote is good but takes getting used to pointing it at the TV. Overall would recommend to anyone that isn’t ready to fork over 2000 dollar on premium TVs.

Almost as good as my high end Sony85” OLED TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was thinking about buying a cheap Black Friday tv but remembered the saying quality of quantity. So I did some research and found this nice OLED 55” LG on sale! Unboxing was alittle scary bc the panel is so thin. Set up was super easy and configuring the picture was easy too. First impressions, I can see everything super clear at any angle. The TV has good blacks and the 120 htz shines when you turn it on. Playing games on it was super amazing. Highly recommended tv!!!

Another overly "smart" TV
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV set was highly touted in an email from LG. They said it is an amazingly priced, 55”, OLED TV for only $999 and good until December 24th. I tried to do some research on it but got nowhere online or at the store. I decided to buy it and see because, after all, something this “State of the Art” had to be nothing less than amazing right? Not for this older guy. As expected, it looked amazing but then again, how much better can a picture get today? My main issue was the “Over the Air Guide” (OTA) since I refuse to pay for cable, dish or streaming any longer. I was assured by 2 people that it had a good "guide” so I took it home but, after one day of use, it went right back! The guide screen came on, but it was frozen. It showed all my channels but only 2 of them had any program info. The rest of them had the words: “No Information”! (See the picture). Here are some of the pros & cons I had with this TV: A defective (frozen up) OTA guide screen. The remote has an on screen “mouse like pointer” that will not go away and, even on the slow setting, it moves way too fast! You can turn it off but it comes right back whenever you click on anything. VERY IRRITATING. Some of the print on the remote is too light to read (on purpose I believe). They want you to use the mouse and the voice command features. There is no clock that appears on the screen when using the remote control. You can bring it up with 2 or 3 key strokes but that shouldn't be IMO. The menu system is complex and some of needed features are well hidden in it. The picture is everything you’d expect from an OLED, the sound is plenty loud with a lot of useful settings. Most of the functions lean toward letting the TV decide what the picture and sound should be set at. I don't like that. If I were to stream or have a service provider, the set would be great since they have their own guide but that’s not what I want. I don’t even set it up as a smart TV since I don’t want my TV telling me what it thinks I like. Honestly folks, the more technology these products get, the more useless they are to most of us over 50.

Perfect!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing colors, settings, and my ps5 gaming looks better than ever! Oh and while lg's home screen shows ads, I never see them. I turn on my tv to a screensaver (it tries connecting to ps5 automatically, which is usually in standby) then keep hitting my YouTube shortcut til that boots up. Free protip in a review for ya!

Amazing TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first OLED TV. Amazing picture quality. Awesome TV for the money!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m super happy with this TV! Great crisp picture and the sound is amazing. Loud enough that you really don’t need an external sound system if you’re on a budget. I even experience a surround sound with certain shows which really surprised me! If you’re looking for a quality TV that won’t break your bank account, This is great choice!! You won’t be disappointed!

Q: QuestionWhat's the difference between the C1 & B1 ?
Asked by Johnnyboy.
- A:Answer The C1 gets brighter, but the difference isn't very noticeable. The C1 also has a wider refresh rate range because it has low frame rate compensation that allows the VRR to drop below 40Hz, which the B1 doesn't have. The B1 has much better gradient handling, so there's less banding in HDR content.^Venette

Q: QuestionWhen we finished our basement, my electrician installed an electrical outlet and a cable hookup about 5 feet up the wall where the TV will go. Will the wires interfere with placement of the TV? Will the TV stick out from the wall? Suggestions?
Asked by Florence.
- A:Answer If you are using hdmi1 &2 2.1 then yes they plug in directly to the back 3&4 2.0 hdmi then it will sit flush. They plug into the side. You could always get a 90 degree hdmi 2.1 cord for 1&2

Q: QuestionWhat is the deference between motion refresh 120H & 240H?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The frame rate. Higher the number is more fluid, lower makes is slightly choppy. 120hz looks great, I'd avoid any TV with 60hz
Answered by Eric
Q: QuestionJust go this tv home and set up but the power cord is too short. And it looks to be “hardwired into the back. I don’t want to use extension cords. Can it be replaced with a longer cord wo voiding the warranty? Or can I order a longer cord or something?
Asked by Powercordguy.
- A:Answer Unfortunately, No. Only use an authorized AC adapter and power cord approved by LG Electronics. Otherwise, this may result in fire, electric shock, malfunction or product deformation. Doing so will void all warranties on the unit. ~ Tanisha
