Nope, it doesn't swivel. The stand is two pieces that lock together to hold the TV upright. I'd recommend mounting it with a swivel mount.

Not the original stand , but the t.v. can be mounted on a wall type mount or free standing shelf type stand that may have a limited swiveling/ tilting capability. (mounting the t.v. for a stand /bracket will call for additional hardware, sometimes not included in the package) This t.v. is relatively light weight.
