“I can’t get the video to come through on my new OLED C8 55 from my Bose System DVD player. It has S Viidio and composite connections but the triple rca plug colors don’t match the tv’s plug colors. Would a HDMI adapter work easier?”

Yes invest in an HDMI adapter.
