“OLED's are a relatively new technology and no broadcast stations sends out 4K signals.Is it worth buying, or should one wait for 4K broadcasts and OLEDs to improve? When is that expected ?”

I cannot answer to the expected date of 4K broadcasts, but I can tell you that this TV has amazing picture quality with network tv. If you watch movies online, have Amazon Prime or Netflix, many of those shows are in 4K.....its stunning.

Of course future TV's will have newer and better tech, but I'm convinced that this is the best of what's currently out there. The picture is simply spectacular and the conversion of content below 4K is excellent. It blows away my older DLP, Plasma and LCD TV's. OLED tech has been around for a while now and is relatively mature. The difference is that it is now affordable. That price drop was what I was waiting for. I chose to buy now.
