- Answer The LG 6.3 cu. ft Electric Single Oven Range with ProBake Convection® and EasyClean®, Model # LRE4213ST has a different Broil Element ( Sheath 4,200W / 6 Pass) and the LRE4215ST has a Charcoal (1.6 KW + Sheath 2.4 KW) broil element. The Right Front Element on the cooktop for the LRE4313ST is a Dual element (12" - 2,700W and a 9" - 1,700W) and the LRE4215ST has a Tri-element (12" - 3,000W, 9" - 2,200W and a 6" - 1,100W). The only other difference is in the included accessories. The LRE4215ST also comes with a Cooktop Cream/Cleaner...^IFV

- Answer The Self Clean cycle in the LG 6.3 cu. ft Electric Single Oven Range with ProBake Convection® and EasyClean®, Model # LRE4213ST uses extremely hot temperatures to clean the oven cavity. When you touch the Self Clean touch pad, the oven defaults to the recommended four-hour self clean for a moderately soiled oven. You can touch it twice for a five-hour self clean or three times for a three-hour self clean. Once the self-clean cycle is set, the oven door locks automatically and the lock icon displays. You will not be able to open the oven door until the oven has cooled. The lock releases automatically when the oven has cooled. While running the Self Clean cycle, you may notice smoking or an odor. This is normal; especially if the oven is heavily soiled. During Self Clean, the kitchen should be well ventilated to minimize the odors from cleaning..,^IFV

QuestionThis may be a silly question, but is it convection all the time, or is that a setting? I guess what I'm trying to figure out is if I will know how to adjust recipes, or if that is even necessary??

- Answer No, it is not convection all of the time. The description of the oven is unclear, so I asked the same question. I was told that if you choose to use that setting it automatically calculates the time based on the time it would ordinarily bake, but I have never tried it. I will say, this oven bakes the best of the 3 I've had over the last several years. I really do like it. And the eyes on the top heat up quickly, as well.

QuestionWhat’s the voltage requirement for this range to be plugged?

- Answer This appliance must be installed and grounded on a branch circuit by a qualified technician in accordance with the National Electrical code ANSI/NFPA NO. 70 - latest edition. All wiring should conform to Local and NEC codes. This range requires a single-phase, 3 wire, A.C 120/208 V or 120/240 V 60 Hz electrical system. Use only a 3-conductor or a 4-conductor UL- listed range cord with closed-loop terminals, open-end spade lugs with upturned ends or similar termination. Do not install the power cord without a strain relief. A range cord rated at 40 amps with 120/240 minimum volt range is required. If a 50 amp range cord is used, it should be marked for use with 13/8" diameter connection openings. This appliance may be connected by means of a conduit or power cord. ^CP

QuestionI recently asked why my baked fries were limp after baking at 400 degrees (as directed) for 30 min but I left out the information that my previous oven had made them crisp and wanted to know why this oven wouldn't do the same?

- Answer For the LG Model:LRE4213ST, assuming you are replacing an electric range with an electric range and assuming the prices haven't changed (since June of 2019): (1) You will need to purchase a range cord for about $27.99. Installation is then included for an additional penny ($0.01). (2) Removal of the old stove is approximately $19.99. If you are changing from gas to electric (or for some reason don't have the proper electrical outlet) you will need to have one installed by an electrician.
