A:Answer Not sure what the issue is, Jack. If you just wish to bake/roast, etc., touch the "bake" button. Then choose your temperature, it automatically defaults to 350, I think, but you can use the plus/minus buttons to change the temp. When you have done that, touch "start," and the oven will start to preheat. When it's up to the temp that you chose, it will beep. Just put your stuff in the oven and enjoy!
