I can bake a turkey in the larger bottom chamber and do about two casseroles in the top before the turkey is done to coordinate dinner around the same time. The promo picture even shows a turkey with a side being cooked in the bottom.

Put the rack on the bottom and make sure it is inverted so that it sinks down vs up (they can go either way). This will still allow room on the bottom for air to circulate in convection mode and then you can put whatever you need to in the top
