  • QuestionIf I already have a gas range that I am having you take away, which gas range installation should I be choosing? I am guessing the less expensive one, but wanted to make sure.

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Hello there, thank you for your question about the LG LDG4313ST gas range! If you are replacing an existing gas range, you typically only need to choose a standard installation service, which is often less expensive. This usually includes connecting the new range to your existing gas line and ensuring it operates safely. However, if any modifications are required for the installation, such as new gas lines or additional parts, this could incur extra costs. It's always best to confirm with your retailer or installation service provider for specific recommendations based on your setup. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport. We’re here to help! —Avril

  • Questionldg4313st Oven my top over has a broil mode…when I hit the broil button normally a flame happens from the top of the over and that flame is not coming on…what part needs to be replaced to work?

    Asked by Wiseguy.

    • Answer Hello there. Thank you for your question. We're sorry to hear that the broil mode on your LDG4313ST oven is not working as expected. If the broil element is not producing heat or flames, there could be a few potential issues to check: Broil Element: The broil element may be damaged or burnt out. It's a crucial component for broiling. A visual inspection may help determine if it's visibly damaged or broken. Temperature Sensor: Sometimes, issues with the temperature sensor can affect the oven's heating elements. If the sensor is malfunctioning, the oven may not reach the desired temperature. Thermostat: The thermostat is responsible for regulating the temperature in your oven. If it's malfunctioning, it might not allow the broil element to heat up properly. Control Board: The control board is the brains of the oven. If it's faulty, it can prevent the broil element from working as it should. Wiring and Connections: Sometimes, loose or damaged wiring and connections can be the culprit. Make sure all electrical connections to the broil element and its associated components are secure and in good condition. To diagnose and fix the issue, it's recommended to contact a qualified technician or an LG service center. They can perform a thorough inspection, identify the exact problem, and replace the necessary parts to restore your oven's broil function. If your appliance is under warranty, be sure to check if the repair would be covered. You may also contact us through a private message on Facebook or Twitter at @LGUSSupport or by calling the customer service line at (800) 243-0000.
