QuestionI have hearing problems and want to use my Bose headphones at the same time as the internal speaker (for my wife). . the speaker options do not seem to allow this. What do you suggest?

- Answer I measured about 9 inches for my OLED65C8PUA. This includes the stabilizer projection of the base that extends to the rear.

QuestionFrom my understanding the main advantage of E8 over C8 is having 60W 4.2 channel speakers. However if I already have my own advanced 5.1 surround sound system, and use it with the tv, C8 and E8 will provide the same sound quality, is it right? Thanks!

- Answer If you already have a system in place, then you need the C8. I looked at both before I purchased the C8 model, and it looks more sleek. It works great with my surround sound.

QuestionI have purchased C8 and a SK10Y. What I would like to do is mount the tv to my stand then attach the SK10Y to the tv (more of an hanger than stand) due to the length of the SK10Y. On an LG Dutch site they call out a mount TK10. When will this be available

QuestionFor placing a TV mount on the wall prior to picking up the unit, where is the VESA mount located on the back? How many inches from the bottom of the TV?

- Answer It is about 5 inches. I used a Sanus LL11 and had no problem. The instructions on the LG box about how to take the television out of the box and lay it on the Styrofoam that is put in the box was tricky. But, it was pretty easy to adjust the VESA screws used in the arms to make the television the desired height. WARNING! Make sure that the top VESA screws are in one of the lengthy slots on the mounting arm and NOT in a hole. The best fit for me was using two screw holes but the distance is off enough to break the tv. Glad I did not force it.

QuestionHow does this processor compare to the processor used in Sony's 2019 950 series when it comes down to upscaling 1080i off a DISH receiver. I am in a rural area and it will be some time before I can stream any 4k.

- Answer I found that comparing the X1 Ultimate and the Alpha 9 are 0retty comparable. The X1U may have a slight advantage over the A9 in upscale but it may be for some unnoticeable. Also the 950G is a 2019 model where this unit is 2018. The Alpha 9 Gen II should be better than the X1 Ultimate due to it's Deep Learning database.

- Answer Best Buy charged me ~$130 (plus cost of mount) to mount and install LG OLED 65 C8. They did fine job. The rack I picked would not work, not enough side to side lateral movement when flush against wall (watch out for this as Mount makers seem to hide this significant limitation and advertise lateral movement but it is only when rack is extended, so if you want it flush against wall, some racks have very little lateral). Geek Squad had an extra rack on truck new in box that worked great. Also make sure your rack will pull out at least ~4" so you can change cabling later in life.

QuestionCan I mount this TV above a fireplace mantle?

- Answer I'm not a fan of mounting TVs above a fireplace. The heat generated by the fireplace may not be good for the screen, especially OLED being so thin. I would think twice, maybe three times, before doing it.
