QuestionOn the 55” B7 is the power cord a straight plug or angled I need to know as I am installing an in wall power bridge and the receptacle is recessed A straight plug will work but an angled plug will not Thanks

- Answer The cable comes right out the back of the TV, but the power connector is a 90 degree angled plug. Personally, as nice as the picture is on these TV's, I would make a conversion work - or put your required plug on the power cable.

QuestionI had one of the BB reps tell me this unit is best for Gaming/Movies (4K only). Not so much for everyday use like Direct TV in a living room. His points were around processing speed/brightness issues. What is your experience or regular viewing, not 4K?

- Answer I would disagree on the everyday DirecTV use. I have Directv and picture quality is amazing. I did upgrade my Directv equipment to 4K which is free right now. Also, cool feature with this TV is to add Directv stations to the LGs favorite channels list so you jump to them very quickly and even see the Directv guide via the LG TV guide.

- Answer I believe LG makes a couple of larger size OLED,TVs, but they are extremely expensive - like in the $15 to 20 thousand dollar range, or more. If that's within your price, I'm sure any Best Buy store with a Magnolia shop inside might be able to give you more info on pricing and availability.

QuestionHow wide is the tv stand in back and in front. We got the 8.5 depths. The 4 inch height but can’t find just the stand width size. We need to secure the stand to a9 inch ledge. Is there a away to screw it in? Will I need to bracket it down?

- Answer I'll try to answer my own question. The stand is basically a bent hexagon. 8.8 depth edge to edge. The peak where it attaches to the tv is 26.75 The width of footing is 22.55 These numbers represent the absolute smallest foot print. Now the good news. There are two lag bolt holes under where the tv would attach to the stand. I would go no less than 3 inch because the stand is 2.25 inches high. The lag holes are 24.5 inches apart so you will need at least 28 inch width base to secure the tv if using only the stand like I did. The issue is that you need to secure the stand. Then put the tv on the stand. Then attach tv to the stand. Because the lag holes are under the set. Cheers. Great tv.

QuestionWhat are the capabilities of the OS, and it functionality. I am torn between the Android operation system on the Sony OLED's (which I am familiar with) vs what this TV has. Is anyone in a similar boat and can advise. Do I need an additional ROKU?

- Answer If you are a cord cutter like me, you need an external streaming device like Roku or Apple TV or Amazon Fire if you do not find a main stream app in the Web OS library. LG still does not have Direct TV Now nor Sling TV which I use to get live channels. Maybe latter on; you can use Web OS 3.5 with it future app libraries but for now; it is lacking in main apps.

QuestionCable, antenna or DVR compatible?? Will this unit work with an antenna? I know in this day and age, that seems like a silly question, but where we live, that is what we are looking at using.

- Answer Yes it will! I am watching OTA free tv on it now and it looks great when you get a nice, HD signal. This is one of the few TV's that has a digital tuner (RF) port. Enjoy!

QuestionWhat output should I use for a Bluetooth transmitter to aid hard of hearing ,headphone wearing oldster? Oled65C7P tv, lg sj4r sound bar, lg up790 DVD player, all bought from Best Buy Any suggestions? Would like to have both sound outputs at once.

- Answer I would look into a sort of in-line Digital Optical Audio splitter so that way you can send one output to your Bluetooth transmitter and the other to your soundbar. I have a set of gaming headphones that act as a pass-through for the Digital Optical Audio allowing me to wear headphones while gaming and a friend that is observing to listen through the soundbar.

- Answer On the back panel of the C7 there is a square, yellow 3.5mm jack right above the RJ45 (Ethernet) port. The component/composite splitter is included in the box and plugs into that jack. (See uploaded photo).

QuestionIf the tv is placed on an entertainment center should it be secured so it doesn’t tip over? The installation instructions do not say to secure it at all. Is standing it on the base that comes with it enough?

- Answer It doesn't not need to be secured, unless you live in an area prone to earthquakes. That might make it tip over.
