As long as there are no kinks or blockages of the dryer tube at any point, that's the kind of vent tube route that happens all the time. Also, be sure to cover the outside end of the tube with a store-bought plastic grate to block birds from building nests inside the tubing. There are stationary and flappable varieties available. You could also use a wire mesh that allows the hot air to escape unimpeded.
