- Answer Hi, This does not include power cord. This dryer must be plugged into a 120-VAC, 60-Hz. grounded outlet protected by a 15-ampere fuse or circuit breaker. This grounded 3-prong wall outlet. Four-Wire Power Cord is used if • A UL-listed strain relief is required. • Use a 30-amp, 240-volt, 4-wire, ULlisted power cord with #10 AWGminimum copper conductor and closed loop or forked terminals with upturne ends. - Answer No. The guys that installed my washer & dryer saud the dryer door is made to open part of the way when opening down. But, it opens all the way to the side.

- Answer I recently purchased this same dryer. The closest that I could get it located against the back wall has it sticking out around 34 to 34.5". My venting is through the floor, so the diameter of the vent hose determines how close it can be installed, plus any baseboard. It still might be the same if your venting connect is coming through the back wall, although you may not have a baseboard to deal with, you'll still need to allow space for the vent hose to be turned to line up with the vent. The photo shows the installation looking straight down behind the dryer. Hope this helps.

- Answer Hi, Energy Saver-- This option helps to reduce energy consumption in the Normal cycle, depending on the load size. When the Energy Saver option is selected, the cycle begins with an air dry section and the drying time is increased. The Energy Saver option is turned on by default in the Normal cycle. Turn off the Energy Saver option for a faster Normal cycle which begins with heated drying. This option allows the Energy Saver settings to be changed. To run a Normal cycle without the Energy Saver option, press and hold the Energy Saver button for three seconds. ON or OFF appears in the display. ^Vanessa

Ultra Large Capacity Rear Control Electric Dryer with LG EasyLoad™ Door and AI Sensing, Model # DLE8400WE, has a depth of 29 1/4" (50 1/2" D with door open), and it has been tested for clearances of 1 inch (2.5 cm) on the sides and the rear for recessed or closet installation spacing. You may want to consider additional spacing for ease of installation and servicing. Closets with doors must have both an upper and lower vent to prevent heat and moisture buildup in the closet. One upper vent opening with a minimum opening of 48 sq. in. (310 cm2 ) must be installed no lower than 6 feet above the floor. One lower vent opening with a minimum opening of 24 sq. in. (155 cm2) must be installed no more than one foot above the floor. Install vent grilles in the door or cut down the door at the top and bottom to form openings. Louvered doors with equivalent ventilation openings are also acceptable...^Ivan.

- Answer Yes, the dryer can be vented to the bottom; there are instructions in the manual. The dryer door does reverse; I did it myself and it took about 45min. I am not sure about the kit, but it shows to use a 4" 90' elbow. This could probably be purchased at your local home improvement store.

- Answer Make sure your dryer vent is clean. I've had that problem in the past and found out there was a bunch of lint built up in the dryer vent hose.
