  • Questionright after buying this it shows d95 warning. We have professionally cleaned the duct and raised a ticket for this issue 974863. Uploaded pictures, invoice and done all of the troubleshooting and still showing this d95. Still no one helped

    Asked by TanzilaT.

    • Answer The Energy Star® Certified LG 7.3 cu. Ft. Ultra Large Capacity Rear Control Electric Dryer with AI Sensing and ThinQ® Smart Features, Model # DLE8200L, will show error code d95 to indicate that the airflow is restricted somewhere between the dryer and the outside exhaust exit. While this is typically a signal to have the yearly vent cleaning completed by a professional vent cleaner, possible resolutions without a vent specialist would be to remove lint from the lint tray between each load, clean the lint tray with warm water and a soft brush, then allow it to dry before reinstalling. You can also check that the exhaust hose between the dryer and the wall is not crushed, dented, kinked, or compressed, and verify it is not coiled circle over circle like a spring, or reduce the load size to allow air to pass through from back to front. Confirm there are no holes in the exhaust hose and no loose connections, and verify that whatever duct type you use (Rigid, Semi-Rigid, or Flexible) is not crushed or kinked. You can locate the exhaust outlet on the outside of your home. This may have flappers, a cage, or mesh to block animals or debris from entering, so you will need to verify that the flappers can open all the way. These can get jammed by lint. If you run the Air Dry cycle, you should see them fully opened. Remove any visible lint around the exhaust. If the above-mentioned steps did not resolve your error code, and you have already contacted a Dryer Duct Cleaner in your area to clean the vents located in your house, and requested that they provide the length of the ventilation system from dryer to outside exhaust to determine if modifications may need to be made within the ventilation system, and the number of 90 degree angles within the ventilation system to determine if modifications may need to be made within the ventilation system, it may be that the Flow Sense system may trigger a false d95 code if the air is too humid or the sensor itself is faulty. If the vent path is very long or has too many 90-degree turns, it can trigger the code even if clean. Try unplugging the dryer for at least 5–10 minutes to reset the main control board and clear the error memory. In some cases, the thermistor or heating element may be faulty, causing poor heat, which the sensor misinterprets as a blockage. If the code persists after cleaning the inside of the dryer and after you have performed all the troubleshooting steps, and duct cleaning, the sensor itself may need replacement...^Ivan.
