- Answer I dont know, but mine can be opened from the left to the right as well as from the top down. Maybe I would assume it could also be opened from the other direction.

- Answer Hello there RC. Yes The 27" Kenmore pedestal is the exact same pedestal as the LG WDP4W. Simply place the LG washer on top of the Kenmore pedestal, fasten with the same screws and levels and you should be good to go. ^Jai.
