QuestionAre the door hinges reversible such that the door can swing open from left rather than the right? I know the flip down opening is only one way.

- Answer We had ours delivered today (it replaces the same LG gas dryer that is 9 years old), but when the installer tried to reverse the door for us, he informed us there was a screw that was stripped causing him to be unable to reverse the door swing. So, my wife called 1-888-Best Buy to inform them that we want to exchange the dryer for another one to then have that door swing changed and was told there would be a $49.99 charge! We don't believe that is accurate.

- Answer It opens from left side or the top. So you can open from top and swing down or from the left corner and swing right.

- Answer Hello there. You may only be able to side vent on one side of the dryer - most gas dryers can only be side vented to the left because of the burner housing. Dryers with "four-way venting" usually will allow you to install a side vent on either side. ^Jai.

- Answer Hello there. • A gas shutoff valve must be installed within 6 ft.(1.8 m) of the dryer. Connect the dryer to your laundry room’s gas supply using a new flexible stainless steel connector with a 3/8-inch NPT fitting. ^Vanessa

QuestionWhat kind of vent pipe outlet is required? There are two holes already as I am using a gas dryer but technician did not install and said it is not correct. Plumber said dryer can be connected to the hole. Please advise in detail what I should prepare.

QuestionWhich way does the door swing open with the manufacture default? Do I have to ask the installer to set up the pulldown door or should that automatically work?

- Answer The Door either swings out to the right OR you can pull it out and down. That's a cool feature. If you need it to swing to the left that can be changed as well.

- Answer The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.3 cu. ft. Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Gas Dryer with Sensor Dry Technology, Model # DLG7301WE is shipped from the factory configured to vent to the rear. The rear exhaust duct is about 2 inches from the bottom of the dryer. You can change the dryer vent location so it can be vented to the bottom, to the left or to the right. YOu will need to purchase an adapter kit, Part # 383EEL9001B, that contains the necessary duct components to change the dryer vent location...^IFV
