“Is the bass pretty boomy on this unit or not very much if you have it on rap?”

• There is a "Base Boost" button, but to tell the truth I don't detect very much of a difference in the sound when it's on or off.

• Bass is boomy. Probably best suited for rap/dance music

• The whole sound is more bass oriented than anything else but I have found it to do well and Iisten to a lot of different types of music
