“Is there a water compartment for steam or does it use a hose? I really like the lg dlex5780we dryer but need the larger 9 cu ft. Would this be the equivalent in the bigger size., does it also have a reversible door because I need it to open to the right. And does it have a drying rack and esp. Hope it has a water compartment, not hose.”

It uses a hose & has a drying rack that's easy to insert & remove. My door opens to the right, but I think they said it can be set up to open from either side. I can't address your question re the size comparison.

The door can be reversed but the door reversal procedure for the two-way door is far more complex than for a conventional dryer door. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do not know the other dryer but this one is great. I only have 1 1/2 days off and need laundry done in fewer steps. There is steam that hooks up to the water outlet with a connection they provide. The door is reversible and not only opens like a door but also like a shute. I really like loading with a shute and unloading with the door. It says a drying rack comes with it but I didn't get one. I had one that works anyway.
