Hi there! Thank you for sharing your experience with the LRFLC2706S refrigerator. We understand how concerning it can be when the feeler arm gets jammed in the ice bucket, preventing the freezer door from opening fully. The feeler arm is designed to raise when the ice bucket is full, but it should also operate smoothly even when there is less ice present. To troubleshoot this issue, we recommend checking for any ice build-up around the feeler arm or the ice bucket that may be causing it to jam. Ensure that the ice bucket is correctly seated in the compartment, as an improper fit can lead to this problem. If the issue persists, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and our team would be happy to assist you further. We appreciate your patience and trust in LG! —Avril
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This may sound simple and may not apply but mine has done that on occasion and I believe it is the ice buildup behind the cover in front of ice maker. I just jiggle the door and the ice should settle enough to open door.
