QuestionHow long can you keep the unit running? For example, 12 hours? 24 hours?

- Answer The unit can run continuously unless in Energy Saver Mode. In this mode the compressor and fan turn off when the set temperature is achieved. Approximately every 3 minutes the fan turns on to allow the unit sensor to accurately determine if more cooling is needed. The LED lights turns on to clean the filter after 250 hours of operation. ^Daphane

Question1. Will this collect water? Do I need to drain the water often? 2. Can I place this near my fireplace to get the hot air or do I need it placed by the window?

- Answer It will collect water if you leave the included drain plug on. I leave it off and let the water drip. It may cost you a little more in electric bill because the the water collected makes the compressor more efficient. I just don't like the sound of water slushing like a washing machine when the AC is on, if you let the water collect. Also a lot of water attracts mosquitoes making a nest in your AC.

QuestionSays this Dual Inverter Window Air Conditioner has Wi-Fi Control but in the specifications list it says there is no app correct me or if I'm wrong but wouldn't that require an app to control it over Wi-Fi?

- Answer It fits windows that are 36” wide I think you would have to figure out how to reduce the 3 inches with a 2x3 or something else. It’s a great air onditioner I love it.

QuestionHow do I change the AC filter?

- Answer You dont have to change/replace the filter. The front white panel comes off and you have the filter there. You can wipe it off with a microfiber towel or run under warm water to clean it. If you run under warm water the filter needs to be completely dry before putting back in place.

- Answer This unit is designed for installation in standard double-hung windows with an actual opening width from 22” to 36”. The top and bottom window sashes must open sufficiently to allow a clear vertical opening of 13” from the bottom of the upper sash to the window sill. ^Daphane

- Answer I'm sure you might be able to figure out how, but it is not designed for that. The window opening would have to be large enough for this and you would have to come up with a way to hold the weight at the top.

QuestionWhen both the compressor and fan are set on low, what is the approximate BTU rating? Meaning how low does the BTU cooling go? A 6,000 BTU is just the right size to balance temperature and humidity. Is this unit too big for a smaller room?

- Answer It doesnt decrease the BTU rating. This is a set 9500 BTU rating it just depends on tje temperature that you set. If you leave the fan on continuously the converter will turn off and on to keep the room to a set temperature
