Big enough for a king comforter? null

Yes... It can easily wash King comforter

I have washed a king sized goose-down comforter in my machine without any problems. Keep in mind though that down compacts quite a bit when wet, so I'm not sure how it will do with a non-down comforter. But so far, so good for me with my king size bed linens.

i was told that 'if it fits, it will be clean'.... however, i am not that comfortable putting a king comforter in it. i feel that once it fills up with water, it might be too heavy for the spin cycle.

I washed a queen duvet with no problem; I would think a king would be fine. The instruction manual says you can fill up the tub.
