A: Yes... It can easily wash King comforter

Q: Does this work with a standard washer hookup?

A: Yes, hot and cold lines, drain to a utility sink, and standard 110 electric plug in

Q: can you increase the amount of water?

A: The washer senses the load and adds the proper amount of water. I'm not sure why you would want to increase the amount of water. The washer is very efficient.

Q: I have An LG front load washer from 2010

A: No. I had to replace this machine after it leaked, was repaired for nearly $300.00 and leaked again a year later.
