QuestionDoes the ubk90 upscales non-4k bluray discs and 3d bluray discs to 4k, if connected to my 4k lgoled55c6p? And can I use only one hdmi to my Oled just to receive the audio/video and not connect to audio in a receiver?

- Answer Yes it upconverts bluray and dvds to 4k. It has two hdmi outs so you can use one to send audio and pic to tv and second sends just audio to receiver. Pick your way of hooking up.

- Answer As of right now with the firmware update you can only get Netflix and YouTube. Who knows if more will come with future firmware updates.

- Answer It’s still actually cheaper than the similar Samsung and Sony models. I got mine during cyber week. It also came with a free logitech remote. If you see something with a huge sale price, then it’s not going to stay like that long.

- Answer No you cannot, if that’s important to you your better off going with the Sony 800 series. However this player does not support Dolby vision.

- Answer Try using HDMI 1 for your BluRay and HDMI 2 for your Sound Device. Sometimes HDMI 3 & 4 are not 4k compliant.

QuestionJust bought this player. Started watching a video on it. Then all of a sudden there was some flickering on the screen then it went black. My player then started flashing a green light, but wont do anything.... what's the problem?

- Answer Yes it is supposed to play them. I don't have one to test personally but i looked up the manufacturer and compared different models before buying. This one is supposed to play them. It has amazing picture on regular bd and if you have a 4K Tv and cable it looks incredible as well

- Answer I recently had a similar problem and my experience may help. In my case my TV would all of a sudden display no signal and my receiver would shut off. It turned out that my Apple TV was going into sleep mode after a set interval. Even though it was not the current signal source it managed to reak havoc. Look for a device that has a sleep mode and either extend its duration (I set mine to 10 hours) or shut the sleep mode off, as appropriate.

- Answer Why would someone want to hardwire a bluray player to a TV....? It isn't designed to be hardwired....!!!!! The simplest ways are to hook up with HDMI cables or use Fiber Optic cable......! This is a very nice 4K blu ray player....and will provide tons of entertainment for one's viewing pleasure. Hook it up to a 4K tv......and there you have it....!

- Answer Your receiver would have to have Amos for it to play Atmos. But the player will work with your Receiver with the HDMI cable.

- Answer OPPO 203 or 205 models......! If you want the WOW FACTOR......bad boys are rather pricey now...since OPPO is getting away from blu ray players.....! I have two Sony 4k players for my Sony TV's......and this LG for one of my LG TV's....for my 70 inch UHD LG tv I use the OPPO 203.....for viewing and also for music listening.....!!!!!!!
