The LG - STUDIO 24" Top Control Smart Wi-Fi Dishwasher - QuadWash - TrueSteam -Steel Tub with Light - PrintProof Black Stainless Steel, Model # LSDT9088BD does not come with an attached power cord. It has to be hardwired. If your local codes and ordinances allow you to attach a plug, the outlet must be within 4 feet on either side of the dishwasher and must be easily accessible...^IFV

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As a customer who just installed one. The first answer is that yes, you can hard wire it. You can also plug it in. There is an installation kit that is optional which contains and electric cord and a stainless steel water line. Do some good measuring to see if it is four feet away from the electrical connection and the water supply line. I had to get a longer supply line at the local hardware store. They do make 10 foot long lines. They also make longer electrical connection plugs.
