A:AnswerWhich cycle did you just run on the LG STUDIO 24" Top Control Smart Wi-Fi Dishwasher - QuadWash - TrueSteam -Steel Tub with Light - Stainless Steel, Model # LSDT9908ST and did you leave the dishes to dry overnight? When dishes are often left overnight after the cycle ends, the steam inside the tub can condense on the dishes leaving them wet. The Night Dry option runs the ventilation fan periodically to help vent the steam from the tub. It is is selected by default on all cycles for which it is available, except the Normal cycle. If you ran the dishes in the Normal cycle, to add the Night Dry option to the Normal cycle, press and hold Extra Dry for 3 seconds. Rinse aid helps to ensure that the majority of the water has been sheeted off of the dishes at the end of the rinse and that the load is ready for the dry cycle. The cloudy film on your dishes after the wash is usually caused by minerals in the water reacting with the dishwasher detergent. First, be certain not to use too much detergent. Refer to Adding Detergent to the Dispenser section for recommended detergent amounts. Add an extra rinse to the cycle. LG Dishwashers use less water than traditional dishwashers, so adding an extra rinse aids in rinsing the film away. If the water supply is hard, it may be necessary to add a performance booster that addresses the hard water condition. Water tends to bead rather than sheet off plastic and nonstick surfaces, making them more difficult
to dry. If washing plastic items in a Normal cycle, select the Extra Dry or Night Dry option or both for
better drying results. When the rinse aid is empty, the Extra Dry option is selected automatically. Allow the dishwasher to completely finish the dry cycle before opening the door. If the door is opened in the middle of the dry cycle, the heat that is necessary for the hybrid dry system to work will escape. This will cause all of the dishes inside to remain wet once the cycle finishes...^IFV

A:AnswerWe appreciate you bringing this to our attention. This unit is not panel ready. A panel ready appliance allows a custom cover to be installed on the face or the front of the appliance that matches the rest of your cabinetry. Most often, this is seen on refrigerators and dishwashers and creates a consistent, streamlined look across your whole kitchen. PrintProof Stainless is a fingerprint and smudge resistant finish that is magnetic. A:AnswerThe light goes off after couple of minutes on my dishwasher. I always leave it open for ventilation. But I was wondering if maybe I have a defective item or something needs to be adjusted in settings because the light goes off two fast. I can not put away all dishes in couple of minutes.

A:AnswerI am following up to your reply that it can access Wi-Fi but will not work unless linked to a wireless router and enabled. I understand that. I appreciate the quick response. Let me rephrase my question. Is there a certain combination of buttons to press or hold for x amount of seconds that would disable the Wi-Fi totally? Maybe one has to log into the device first, and then there may be a menu selection to deactivate the transmissions. Without getting too technical, by design wi-fi devices are constantly seeking a wireless router and thus may be creating unnecessary wireless traffic that can interfere with other devices. Best practice is to turn off the wi-fi if it is not in use. Thus the unnecessary wireless traffic is turned off and it can help shore up home security in case someone tries to hack in. I am sure there are safeguards in place, but the idea is to minimize the opportunity. Most wi-fi devices like laptops, computers, ipads, cellphones have a software menu setting that can be set so that the wi-fi device can be deactivated and will stop seeking a wireless router. The wi-fi device itself is completely turned off. Back in the olden days devices used to have a physical switch or jumper setting on the electronics module to turn it off/on. Maybe LG has some hidden "switch". Thanks,
