Slide-In Smart Electric Induction True Convection Range with EasyClean® and Air Sous Vide - Stainless Steel, Model # LSIS6338FE, is an 'Electric Range Oven' and electric range ovens do not have BTU ratings like gas range ovens. Instead, they are measured in watts, where 1 watt is approximately equal to 3.41 BTUs per hour. The specifications list watts for each element so you can add the watts up and multiply them by 3.41 for an approximate BTU rating...^Ivan.

Q: QuestionI need to place the LSIS6338FE at the end of my kitchen counter, so one side would be exposed with the black side panel. I understand that you don' t offer side panels in other colors. Do you sell white paint that I could to paint it myself?

Q: QuestionDoes this model have a heating element on the bottom of the oven? My current model LG induction range does not & I have issues when baking certain things that basically require heating from the hottom.

LG Convection ovens do not have a bottom heating element because they rely on a fan to circulate hot air throughout the cooking chamber. This design enhances cooking efficiency and browning of food by ensuring that hot air reaches all surfaces of the food, promoting uniform cooking. The absence of a bottom heating element is integral to the design and function of convection ovens, which use "forced convection" to distribute heat evenly. This contrasts with standard ovens that rely on radiant heat from the top and bottom elements. The fan in the convection oven ensures that hot air reaches all surfaces of the food, contributing. It is normal for the convection fan to operate periodically throughout a normal bake cycle in the oven. This is to ensure even baking results..^Ivan.
