QuestionHow much space is required behind the unit (between the unit and the wall(s)) to accommodate water hoses, power cable and venting?

- Answer To ensure sufficient clearance for water inlet hoses, drain hose and airflow, allow minimum clearances of at least 1'' at the sides and 4'' behind the appliance. Be sure to allow for wall, door, or floor moldings that may increase the required clearances. ^Daphane

QuestionWhat’s the difference between the LG studio stackable washer vs the black and white stackable washers. Aside from the color and size they offer the exact same functions but it’s a lot more expensive so I’m curious why that is.

- Answer Studio is like a designer series. Has a bigger washer 5 vs 4.5 cu.ft capacity and dryer has stainless finish inside and comes with a dryer tray Nicer model but more expensive.the outside finish is Noble Steel color.

QuestionI understand that the depth listed on your website for this unit is 30 3/8”, however the LG website lists the depth as 32.75” for the exact same unit. I think that there is an error in one of the websites so I am trying to clarify which one.

- Answer Hey there, Barbara. Our LG - STUDIO 5.0 Cu. Ft. HE Smart Front Load Washer and Dryer has a 2 depth measurements. The depth with the door closed is 32.75 inches and the depth with the door open is 55 inches. Hope this clarifies any confusion! Here from LG. ^Anthony

- Answer From the illustrations in the owner's manual the dryer exhaust is located in the bottom center of the dryer. You can access the manual from the support page at https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-WSEX200HNA.ANSEEUS. I do not have access to CAD drawings. You can try Customer Support. QuestionCan these stackable units fit inside a standard clothing closet?

- Answer Closets with doors must have both an upper and lower vent to prevent heat and moisture buildup in the closet. One upper vent opening with a minimum opening of 48 sq. in. (310 cm2) must be installed no lower than 6 feet above the floor. One lower vent opening with a minimum opening of 24 sq. in. (155 cm2) must be installed no more than one foot above the floor. Install vent grills in the door or cut down the door at the top and bottom to form openings. Louvered doors with equivalent ventilation openings are also acceptable. ^Daphane

QuestionWill this unit save me electricity compared to a Whirlpool electric 7.0 cu ft dryer of about 10 years ago? This one is bigger but more efficient but I’d hope the energy savings would still be significant.
