Yes, you should have no problem phoning UBER for a ride, or downloading the UBER app. A pre-paid phone works just like any other phone plan - and Virgin Mobile has excellent service. I've been a satisfied customer for many years.

The term "pre paid" is a little confusing and i had to call and speak to a rep before purchasing this phone to make sure it would work with my month to month unlimited plan that ive had with them for the past 5 years. You pay a set fee each month for unlimited service. I've tried Att, Sprint and Cricket and I cant tell a diffetence in the quality or availability of service. I love that there is no contract. You can do anything with this phone! You can phone uber no problem.
