My does same and its really annoying. Now I just turn it off when I'm not making a call.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the first answer is wrong: they should defiantly not dangle when you're talking (or anytime else, they are made to retract for safety. although the wires are plenty hardy and can take lots of time dangling without failure.) However, if you're having this problem I recommend you return them rather than just keep remembering to turn them off because they need to be on and connected to answer calls and if you turn them on when a call comes they still need to connect before you can answer right? More important though is the likelihood of these units dropping calls, mine do and I'm sure I'm not the only victim of this frustrating "feature", it's gone from annoying to constant, and in less than a year. If you're having this already, I'd say its not worth the risk, there's better stuff. see PC Mag's review of these for alternatives
