QuestionIf I buy the Lifestyle 650 system in the black version, can I have the two rear speakers white rather than black. Is it possible for Bose to swap two of the speakers ? If not, can I remove the covers of the rear speakers and spray them white ?

- Answer I would call Bose directly and ask. I would NOT spray paint anything! Are you the type of guy that would put 24’s on a Mercedes and ruin the entire look of the car??? Seriously!!!

QuestionI have a lifestyle48 with jewel speakers, if i buy just the console center can i use my old speakers and subwoofer with the new console? Or i have to buy the whole entire system? I want to upgrade but to pay $5000 plus again it’s just too much. Thanks

QuestionI just brought a Bose Lifestyle 650, can you adjust the sound volume from the different (ie, front speakers or rear speaker and the sound bar.) speakers? If so how can I adjust the sound.

- Answer Hi, John. Thank you for your purchase of the Lifestyle 650! The volume of the 4 Omni-Jewel surround speakers can be adjusted independently of the center channel speaker. 1. Power on the system. 2. On the remote, press the MORE button to view more remote functions through its display. 3. Use the up and down arrow buttons the find and highlight the "AV Settings" option. 4. Select the highlighted option by pressing OK. 5. Select "System AV Settings." 6. Select "Center" or "Surround." 7. Use the left and right arrow buttons to decrease or increase the chosen speaker's volume level. 8. Press EXIT to leave the Unify menu. - Answer Hi, that's a great question! The Lifestyle 650 doesn't stream video. SoundTouch systems do offer the ability to stream music, but video would need to be streamed from another device. Regards, Tony - Bose Support

- Answer The 650 series has ominjewel speakers so all 4 are identical instead of having the front and center speakers with the back being satellites, all 4 and the center are identical. This system creates a 360 degree surround sound and Bose is known for it's quality components, sound and bass modules.

- Answer Thank you for your interest in the Lifestyle 650 home entertainment system, Opi. Wired headphones can be connected to the front panel of the 650 using the system's 3.5 mm headphone output. Please follow these steps: 1. Press SETUP on the remote control. The Unify menu will appear on the TV screen. If it doesn't, be sure the proper TV input is selected. 2. Select "Headphone Connector" in the list of Unify options. 3. If the check mark is not shown to the right of the "Headphones" option, select this option to configure the connector for headphone use. 4. Insert the headphone plug into the 3.5 mm headphone connector on the front of the control console. Connecting headphones mutes the speakers. Hope this helps! Jesse - Bose Support

- Answer Thank you for your interest in the Lifestyle 650 home entertainment system, Opi. This system includes an 1/8" headphone jack on the front button panel. The 650 is not engineered with RCA outputs, however, there are 2 RCA inputs on the back panel. If you connect headphones to the system, the audio will play exclusively through the headphones. - Answer Hi David, great question here. There are actually two ways to set up the surround (rear) speakers on the Lifestyle 650. Out of the box, the speakers can be set up using the included wireless receivers which need to be connected to a power outlet. Alternatively, if you already have speaker wire run to the surround speakers' locations you can connect them directly to the existing wire and omit the wireless receivers (and therefore additional power) entirely. QuestionHow far away can the wireless receiver be from the console. Can the wireless receiver be on the other side of the wall. will my wireless rear omni jewels still function. Not so much the distance but the two layers of drywall.
