No. You will still need your Fios Router/Modem. But, you can plug that into this router and it will work. You can either use the new router for your DHCP (network addresses for each PC or printer on the network) or you can shut it down and the Fios router will assign them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the input on this router is normal LAN connection, cat 5, 5E, cat 6 whatever you system provides.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Jim what would you be connecting with a coax cable. I bought the linksys for the same reasons and disabled the one I got with my service provider for the wireless component. now I do use an Ethernet cable connected to the TV cable box for a more consistent signal as wireless drops from time to time, maybe that is an option to look on the back of one of those boxes for coax.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure what Verizon provides but it sounds like it is a combined modem and router. Linksys used to manufacture these combo devices but I have not seen one since Cisco bought the company many years ago. They were pricey but worked with most provider's networks. A stand alone router is not made to connect directly to a provider's network.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That is because it is not a modem/router combo.it IS an EXCELLENT Wireless AC router though.Get a Motorola modem to go with it and you will be VERY happy.YES it will work with Verizon FiOS. If you aren't sure just check with them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Does your modem have an Ethernet port? That is what should go to your wireless router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is NOT a cable modem. You still need to have a cable modem first.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a router not a modem. You connect your coax to a modem then a cat cable from the modem to this router to set up a home network
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Coax connection goes to your cable modem, not the router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This sounds like you are looking for a modem. If I am correct in assuming, Verizon using a modem/router combo. Contact your provider to see what router and modems they support.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
