I don't recommend the combination as upgrades are harder and overall security and reliability go WAY down with it doing that level of network integration. Lastly the integrated router is usually behind on wireless spec and/or features.
A:AnswerI would say YES a Magic Jack can be connected, but NOT directly to the modem. I have two Magic Jacks, therefore two different phone numbers. One MJ is connected to one of the Windows 7 computers (via USB port) on the wired network. The other MJ is connected directly into a Linksys 8 port switch then is connected wired over some distance to the Linksys router.
