It depends on how far away you are from the other wifi connection. You won't know until you try it. Depends on the range of the original wifi signal. I have used the Netgear and the Orbi extenders as well. You got to find the extender that fits your situation. The Orbis are more up to date than the Netgear and Linksys extenders.
