Q: QuestionWill the Linksys max stream work with a Verizon jet pack to extend WiFi in our house?
Asked by Mom.
- A:Answer I don’t think so being that the jet pack is a stand alone meaning devices can only connect to it wirelessly so the Linksys AX6000 will do no good unless you have home internet

Q: QuestionTo extend this using Intelligent Mesh with other nodes/routers, could I purchase 3 of these exact ones (MR9600/AX6000) and use 2 as nodes with no ethernet coming into them, only power? Or do they only properly work with Velop nodes MX5/MX10?
Asked by CS88.
- A:Answer I guess technically you could use three MR9600s but it would be more cost effective to use a MR9600 with MX5/MX10 which is what I did.

Asked by Dee.
- A:Answer Hi. You can set up the Linksys - Max-Stream AX6000 Mesh Wi-Fi 6 Router in Bridge Mode so you can still use your modem/router or gateway device. However, some features will be disabled on Bridge Mode. These include Parental Controls, Device Prioritization, custom internal IP addresses, and other advanced features. Q: QuestionCan the network be managed via connecting to the router directly via IP with a local account? If you cannot connect to the internet, how do you manage the router to troubleshoot/fix the issue?
Asked by StevenR.
- A:Answer Yes. Linksys has done an excellent job providing management tools for its consumer routers. Donload the Linksys app through the appropriate App Store. Through a user's account on iOS, Android and a Web browser all available configuration settings are visible. Even if Internet is out, the connection to the router's Wi-Fi network is still intact. You may have experienced the appearance of full Wi-Fi signal on your phone only to find that it was not connected to the Internet. It WAS connected to Wi-Fi, however. The two are mutually exclusive. Once into the Linksys app, be an effective manager! From there you can also restart your network and do all the personalized settings, which I recommend as a weekly necessity. Access via a computer browser is available with the router's IP address. Once there on a modern Linksys router, users can see a place to log on to an existing account for the same experience as through a phone. Reserve this method for when there is Internet connectivity.
