It is, however the sape of the mouse is not very ergonomic on the right side and gets a little getting used to. If possible test out the mouse if its on display before you buy it.

If it was that way out of the box it is probably defective. I write code for a living; I probably click more in one day than the average person does in a week, so I buy gaming mice instead. The G502 X + Lightspeed is what I recently purchased, I have no complaints, all buttons including the left and right mouse buttons are working flawlessly The Lightspeed version supports the Lightspeed wireless charging system, which I would recommend as you never have to worry about the battery.
