Hello, JARS! If you don't mind louder, clicky key feel the G513 is a great choice for data entry! It even has programmable macro keys that can make your life easier. Just keep in mind that these keys are louder than most mechanical keyboards. If you want something quieter, I would recommend taking a look at the G815, G915, or the MX Mechanical keyboards. These do have low profile keys but they are still mechanical and a bit quieter. - Maggie from Logitech G
