- Answer I've had an issue with the signal strength on my mouse, are you on a desktop and if so, is there something between the mouse and reciever(i.e. Even just my desk's surface was enough to cause problems) I solved my problem by using an USB extender I had lying around to move the reciever from the back of my PC to behind my monitor, where it works flawlessly.

QuestionLogitech M510 wireless mouseI have a 6 year old Dell Vostro 1510 laptop which I'm having issues with the touchpad; the pointer will suddenly freeze up after using it for about 30 minutes. Could I disable the touchpad on my Dell Vostro 1510 laptop and use one of the Logitech M510 wireless mice instead to navigate on my laptop or is there still a chance the computer's pointer might still freeze up while I'm using the Logitech M510 wireless mouse instead of the touchpad on the laptop?

- Answer not to my knowledge, when i installed the wireless mouse, it overrode the touch pad, but the function of the touch pad was still there

- Answer Open battery compartment. Remove the mouse receiver. It is the thumb drive shaped plug in. Plug into pc usb port. Mouse will connect automatically.

- Answer Not sure about the CCTV or DVR i would say yes if they have USB Ports, as far range with Duracell Batteries at least ten feet. As big as my home office

- Answer no need to safely eject, that is only for usb drives. You can just pull out the receiver or leave it plugged in.

QuestionIs it possible to use this mouse with a different USB dongle from previous Logitech product(s)?I have the Logitech Wave keyboard/mouse combo, but the buttons are starting to go on the mouse. Either click too hard or too light and either way it'll over or under respond. Any who, I was wondering if this mouse would work through the Logitech USB dongle I currently have now that came with that keyboard/mouse combo, instead of having to use the one that comes with the mouse. Thanks to any one and all that may answer my question.

- Answer The M510 uses the Logitech Unifying receiver as does the keyboard (and mouse) in the Wave Combo MK550 set. So, yes, you can get the M510 to talk to the same receiver as the MK550 keyboard by using the Logitech Unifying Software utility. - Answer Mouse is 5" in length, compared to the usual logitech 3.5" Only slightly wider. Fits nicely in my small hands, and my husband likes this bigger mouse with his big hands. He's the main user-- don't know what the side buttons do, but have up/down arrows.

- Answer Yes you can. It is the number one feature I use for my mouse. Download the Logitech Options App if you haven't already. In the app you can customize literally any button to do whatever you want it to do. I have mine set to when I click the roller to the left it Copies and when I click it to the right it Paste. Works great for me.
