- Answer It doesn’t plug into iPad, it connects via Bluetooth and it uses your iPad’s battery. It is not a drain on the battery, but it uses it.

- Answer Unfortunately, iit cannot be removed, however you can use various positions where it will not get in your way i.e. streaming, sketching.....it folds back out of site.. I have the rugged version. It is an awesome keyboard and case.

- Answer It does not come with a screen protector so if you feel that you need one then yes. I don't think that it needs one but you might.

- Answer No, but I had five (5!) where the backslash and apostrophe keys didn't work. Problem solved by updating to iOS 13.5.
