“Greetings, I purchased the Lorex 8 ch 8 cam 4K uhd system. I hooked it up and when the screen came on, there was no change. It says " LOREX Welcome" on a blue screen. The mouse pointer works but nothing happens when I double click for the menu. ??!”

I had this problem, turns out the monitor I was using was 720p. Once I hooked up a 1080p monitor a small blue arrow shows up in the bottom right corner. Problem is too low resolution on TV. Would be nice if LOREX would show this on their FAQ, almost returned the system!

It may be the hdmi cable or the settings on the tv as far as the resolution on the tv is to high also check and reboot the system
