- Answer You should be able to get approximately 1.5 weeks of recording if your system is set to record at 720p with 15 frames per second.

- Answer The included cameras do not have built in audio but the DVR supports audio on 1 channel (for 1 camera) so you could add a camera that has audio or use the microphone accessory - model #ACCMIC1

QuestionWhat is the POE (Power over Ethernet) class for the cameras? Class 3 or 0 or lower?

- Answer Hello, This system is a DVR system and the cables are BNC (Coax type) with a power connection lead within the cable. They do not run on PoE as it is not an NVR system bundle. Thanks, Lorex Technology

QuestionI have a Swann system and replaced the cameras several times (under warranty) and without, the camera are all dead. I really don't want to rewire the house since the wiring is obviously very difficult. Are Lorex camera connectors the same or compatible??

- Answer This system uses UL-rated BNC / power extension cables so if they are the same you should be able to use them.

QuestionI need longer cables what type of cable do I need? , and can i connect the provided cables together to make a longer cable, and then purchase longer cables for the longer lengths? also is 2TB enough for a 8 camera system?

- Answer The extension cable must be a single stretch of cable between the DVR and camera. You cannot connect multiple extension cables to each other. The maximum cable run is 300ft with an ‘RG59’ or ‘Coax’ or ‘Coaxial BNC’ Siamese (Video and Power).

- Answer Hello, If you mean "IP" rating, it refers to how resistant it is to dust and water. IP66 would be fully resistant to water, and weatherproof against water for use outdoors, but not intended for underwater use (submersion underwater). Thanks, Lorex
