• Yes video can be viewed through windows by connecting recorder and computer to same network. Live video can also be viewed from any internet connected computer or smart phone by using downloadable app.

• Yes you can view cameras through network. Setting network up is a little more involved than can be explained here but generally means getting IP addresses matched up.
