Not sure about the long haul but mine were in a hard blowing rain a few says after installation. Although they are mounted under the eave of house they got wet during that storm wilthout any ill effect. I was familiar with Lorex before making my purchase and believe they are very reliable Hope you enjoy them as much as I have.
