QuestionDo you need to have internet? If not how does it work

- Answer You can use a Ethernet cable included to access the internet. The system records to a Sd card 8 gig included that is overwriting capable. It is an out dated not supported camera and you "can not" get anything else for the system it come with no battery and you will need to upgrade the SDHC SD sandisk only card to a 32 to 64 SDHC 10 grade to eliminate malfunctioning. What you see is all you can get. I use it to choke the theives out and we both wave at the cameras.

Questioninstallation of one camera is 100 feet from house and one wood framed wall to reciever will this system be strong enough?

- Answer Having the signal pass through wood can cause signal reduction of approximately 10-30%. The outdoor range is up to 500ft outdoor so should be strong enough.

QuestionHow can i review recorded videos on the monitor?

- Answer During live viewing, push the joystick. The Recording File List opens. Move the joystick up / down to change the displayed month, then select the channel and dates you would like to view recordings from. Full instructions can be found on the Lorex website under the Downloads section of the LW2762 product page.

QuestionI purchased this system and I installed the mobile app on my iPhone 5s and it works great but, after I view each event video I need to delete all the files after I view them. How do you do this?? My files are piling up on my iPhone. Help!!!

QuestionIs this small system weatherproof? I'm leery if something is only "weather resistant". If it's going to be outside in rain, wind, snow etc, it has to be weatherproof. Anyone know?

- Answer I have 2 of the LW2780 series systems. The camera's are indoor/outdoor per instructions. I put them up in the early part of summer and we are now into winter in Oregon with lots of rain for days on end and snow at times. They work perfectly in the wind, rain and snow. A person should be aware these cameras have a 12 ft power cord joined together by male/female slip plug that has a electrical plug on the other end which need an outlet nearby to power the camera, which somewhat limits placement. I am very pleased with the clarity of the night vision recording which on other camera's I've had were just about useless beyond 15 ft from camera. Obviously the monitor panel is indoors only.

- Answer I don't think so. There might be some type of adapter, but you would have to call Lorex.

- Answer You can either set the system to overwrite old files after it's full or you can format the SD card. To format the card, insert it into the receiver, press the menu button and move the joystick to select "settings", then select "format Memory", press Yes to the confirmations then when you are finished, press the menu button repeatedly until all menus are closed.
