A:AnswerYou have to log in remotely and reset to you monitor capabilities or call for remote session with Lorex. If your DVR has an “FN” button you can try holding for 35 seconds. Tech said if that doesn’t work you have to try other methods mentioned. Good Luck!
A:AnswerReally low. I don't see any documentation to say what the volume is on the sirens, but I don't see how the sirens are useful with how low in volume they are.
A:AnswerHi Trustbutverify,
Yes, no PoE. This is the latest 4K system using coax cabling and Analog HD cameras.
An important thing to note is that 4K analog HD cameras are more sensitive to cable grade and therefore require RG59 grade cabling and will not work optimally (you will still get video) with cable extensions so single cable runs are required for proper 4K video transmission. Power requirement for the cameras is also slightly higher than for non-4K analog HD cameras and separate grounding is required. All the proper accessories including cabling and power adapter are included in this bundle and other extension cable options are available. If you are simply looking to swap out the cameras and the recorder and leaving the cabling you have pre-installed in place, I would make sure that the cabling meets the requirements mentioned above. If you want to add the 720p cameras you have to open channels on the recorder you can do so as this recorder will accept CVI/TVI/AHD analog HD cameras below 4K resolution.

A:AnswerLorex is. Fact is, you can use any 110v product on a 220v system, provided you have a power converter. Here's another surprise, Best Buy sells them on their website.
A:AnswerI have a 2010 samsung works great. If you have an open hdmi spot or vga connector open either will work. I have a non 4k tv pic is clear can only imagine on a 4k screen. Good luck.
A:AnswerHi Sefbsn,
The number of false positives motion alerts has a lot to do with how the motion settings are configured. You can customize both the area and sensitivity by camera to ensure the least amount of false motion alerts. Based on our extensive testing, cameras featuring thermal sensing components (using 'PIR' typically) are great for battery operated cameras where battery life is critical so a PIR sensor can help to limit the number of motion events. Some of the drawbacks including limited range (typically up to 30ft only) and accuracy concerns in very hot/cold environments (if the temperature of a person is similar to the background then a significant amount of motion events may be ignored) make it less then ideal when you are trying to capture everything around you even if that means some false positives do get recorded.

A:AnswerIf you change it to 4K and you don’t have 4K when it restarts you won’t get a signal and won’t be able to change back without logging in remotely from a computer.
A:AnswerI would recommend using a monitor to do the initial setup to get all the settings how you want them. And after that you can use your tablet, laptop, phone, etc. to view the cameras and do what you want. Then just unplug the monitor (or TV in my case) and don't worry about having it unless you want to make other specific adjustments that are easier to do through the monitor.
A:AnswerThe phone app is very quirky (Lorex Cloud). It took 4 or 5 attempts to get past terms and agreement screen before it would actually load. I had to contact Lorex for technical support. It took awhile to connect with them, but I did get good results. Good luck on set up of event and deterrence features. No instructions on how system works, got to go online and research it. Good Luck, Mike
A:AnswerThank you for your question about this product. Yes this system will work in Europe however you will need to use a compatible power supply/adapter.
