Bag was too snug for my Nikon coolpix b700. Also not enough room/compartments for other stuff like bifocals, keys etc.

Yes it will fit. Mine is a D3400 and it fits well.

I didn't order this online Sir but I did check online about buying a camera , and a bag and I didn't know a lot of camera bag either so instead I went to Best Buy and make sure the camera(Canon - EOS M3 Mirrorless Camera with EF-M 18-55mm Lens and EF to EF-M Adapter - Black) . Maybe call the bestbuy and ask them directly so they can help you . Thanks.
