I wanted a bag to hold my new Sony A5100 camera along with a few accessories without having a HUGE bag to tote around. I went to the store and brought all my gear with me and tried out bags there to see which one would hold my gear the way I would like. This bag fits my camera, I then have the inside flap over it offering extra protection and in the little area next to it I have an extra battery plus battery charger. I have in the bag in the pocket on the closing flap another filter that I wrapped in the end of an old sock along with a cleaning cloth. I also have in the bag a wall charger for the battery I purchased separately. It is a tight fit, but it all fits and it is fairly easy to pull my camera in and out. I feel like I can throw this in the car or take it with me on an extended trip in my luggage and have all the camera gear I would need to make it through several days needing to take photos. I like that it is small, yet can hold everything I need. The bag also seems to be extremely well made with zippers that are sturdy. I am not real hard on my stuff. The material the bag is made of is thick and tough. I do have a smaller bag that I use when I just want to take my camera. I love to hike on long trails and this bag is larger than I would like to take in my pack when I know I won't need another battery etc. That is not the bags fault and the reason I have two is each one meets my needs at a certain time. I am very pleased with this purchase. A well made bag that is large enough to hold all my camera gear I have, without being to big. I would recommend if you can, to go to the store with all your gear and try out different bags and see which one fits your gear the best.

Picked this up to go with my Sony A6500. I have the kit lens and the Sony 55-200. With the kit lens attached to the camera body the two lenses, body, lens hood, and two batteries fit nicely into the bag. If you leave the longer 55-200 on the body it still all fits but not as nicely. The front zipper pocket is kind of worthless. you can slide things in there but it is so tight it is kind of a pain to get a memory card that slid down to the bottom of the pocket. I just slid a usb cable in there and that worked. Overall the bag seems to provide enough protection for normal bumps but I wouldn't trust it if you dropped it from any height. I think the bag does everything it is intending to do and works great if you have a small amount of gear to carry around.

I bought this bag as part of a bundle when I bought the Nikon Coolpix L830. Although this bag was not the original bag that was paired with the advertised bundle it fit my camera. The con and pro of this bag is that it is compact. It was small enough to fit in my carry-on bag at the airport and easily looped over my shoulder. The compactness of the bag also gives a snug fit to my camera so I cannot fit anything else in the larger compartment but the camera and one pack of batteries (I don't really see this as a problem). This bag also has some conveniently placed pockets which I love because it allows me to use the bag as more than just a camera bag when I take my camera on outings.

The Lowepro camera bag is ideal for the Canon SX50. I insert the SX50 in there left-side first, i.e. right-had grip up with lens facing to the right, as if the bag was hanging from one's right shoulder, and flash unit outward. The repositionable separator/dividers inside are used to pad the lens on the right side. The sloping top is a nice feature. There are enough top and side pockets for extra batteries or USB cables, etc. Another good features is the soft carrying handle on top! This product is a good value with no complaints. It is however ~1" too tall for the SX50 inserted edgewise, but that space could be used for more padding inside, or to stash other items.

Lowepro seems to be the leader in the camera bag industry, with an amazing range of models and sizes that presumably fit hundreds of brands and types of cameras. The Format 120 is no different; solid construction, a well-padded interior, and a heavy-duty, large-toothed zipper for long service. The drawbacks of this model for me are the lack of outside pockets for things like batteries, and the lack of a velcro flap for opening when zipping is inconvenient (such as when wearing gloves in cold weather). On the plus side, there are some inside moveable dividers that allow the user to customize the design of the interior. A strong and appealing addition to the Lowepro line!

I am tired of bringing stuff back so I will just go somewhere and BUY another one.I pulled out the velcro dividers and the camera barely fits never mind a spare battery or a cord. Really? I bought the camera there and this came as an extra for this camera specifically and it doesn't FIT,would it really cost best buy that much to actually match the camera with the bag. I am sure the bag would be a nice bag for a SMALLER camera. All this was a gift for someone and with all the aggravation between printers and chips never again . for close to a thousand dollars I don't think I should have to return anything, hope you enjoyed the holidays

It was a nice looking bag for a good price from a brand I trust, and it seemed to have lots of useful small pockets. I thought it would be big enough for my older DSLR (Canon Digital Rebel) with at least one of the two lenses I have. I made the mistake of buying it without test fitting it with the actual camera. Unfortunately, after I got it home, I found it a bit too narrow for the width of the camera. The depth was also pretty tight, so I had to return it. It wasn't the case's fault, though, my older camera is just a bit big. Ironically, I just got a newer DSLR (Canon T3) and it is smaller, so it might have been a better fit.

The Lowepro Format 120 Camera Bag is a great choice for your medium-sized digital point and click camera. It works quite well for my Nikon Coolpix L820. (Note: it is always good to take your camera with you when purchasing a camera bag, as there are a multitude of shapes and sizes for both cameras and bags.) The bag is well-padded to protect your valuable equipment. It is compact and sturdy, yet roomy enough to handle your camera, batteries, and cords, with some room left over for other odds and ends. It also has a solid shoulder strap to sling over your shoulder when you're on the go.
