“At Best Buy, there are 2 different Lowepro Tahoe packs. One is gray, for $69.99 and one is black for $79.99. They look to be identical, same specs, etc. What's up? Is the black fabric more expensive? Some subtle difference not mentioned? Please clarify.”

It seems to be supply and demand. The grey is far less popular. I can count on one had the number of photographers i have seen with a non black bag.

Please try again later.its the same bag, same material but the difference is the color way. it's more of a fashion thing than a material thing. if that makes any since... if you know about shoes (Jordans) you can refer to that model of marketing... some color ways are more expensive than others.
