The PD-5ANS is a digital on/off switch rated to control 5A of lighting or 3A fan motor. In order to use this device in your application, you would need to install the PD-5ANS in place of the On/Off switch that came with your fan. This way you can control power to your fan using the PD-5ANS and cycle through the speeds of your fan using the pull chains.
