A:AnswerI emailed sonance about expanding the MAG 4.1 and they stated the system can be expanded to an 8.2 with the Sonos amp that comes with the MAG 4.1 system.
A:AnswerThe Sonos AMP connects via WIFI just like all other Sonos products. You can add it to your Sonos system through the Sonos application assuming the location of the Amp is within range of your WIFI network. Once you've connected it, you can play/control music to through the Sonos App.

In addition to purchasing the MAG4.1 music system, you will need to buy direct burial speaker wire. We recommend 14 gauge 4 conductor direct burial wire. A:AnswerThe wiring diagram is provided in the instructions. 2 of the satellites connect to the L channel and two of the satellites connect to the R channel of the AMP. The sub is actually wired into both channels in this setup. It's designed to maintain the proper impedance for the satellites in this configuration.

A:AnswerNot partnered with sonos amp. If you had a different amp with 8 inputs, then perhaps. You could run one 4.1 setup to the center channels on your amp, then the other 4.1 setup to the R & L.

The MAG 4.1 package includes an IPORT XPRESS remote control for Sonos with four satellite speakers and one subwoofer. Envy of the neighborhood.Hard to keep it turned down. Can control with your phone or a supplied mountable controller. Easy to set up with good instructions.
