QuestionHow many Sonace speakers can you use with this amp? I see an 8 speaker option but I can't afford the additional 4 speakers now. I'd like to add those additional speakers in the years to come. Would I need to upgrade the amp?

- Answer I emailed sonance about expanding the MAG 4.1 and they stated the system can be expanded to an 8.2 with the Sonos amp that comes with the MAG 4.1 system.

QuestionI have this system but how do you get music played through it? We also have Sonos but not sure how to hook Sonos to this amp and speakers.

- Answer The Sonos AMP connects via WIFI just like all other Sonos products. You can add it to your Sonos system through the Sonos application assuming the location of the Amp is within range of your WIFI network. Once you've connected it, you can play/control music to through the Sonos App.

QuestionNew home with no existing sound system. Will purchasing this package mean nothing else is needed? (Aside from WiFi) Also, is this something that can be set up by me, with limited electrical experience?

- Answer Hi RR, In addition to purchasing the MAG4.1 music system, you will need to buy direct burial speaker wire. We recommend 14 gauge 4 conductor direct burial wire. I would also recommend professional installation to ensure everything is installed correctly. I hope this information is helpful. QuestionWhat is the Correct wiring for this Set up ? Subwoofer on 1 channel and 4 satellites on 2nd channel ?

- Answer The wiring diagram is provided in the instructions. 2 of the satellites connect to the L channel and two of the satellites connect to the R channel of the AMP. The sub is actually wired into both channels in this setup. It's designed to maintain the proper impedance for the satellites in this configuration.

- Answer Not partnered with sonos amp. If you had a different amp with 8 inputs, then perhaps. You could run one 4.1 setup to the center channels on your amp, then the other 4.1 setup to the R & L.

QuestionWhat is the difference in the satellite speakers from this system to the 6.1? The 6.1 is cheaper, so are you just getting 2 more speakers or are the ones in the 4.1 better?

- Answer Hi, Thank you for your question. The satellite speakers in both packages are the same. The MAG 4.1 package includes an IPORT XPRESS remote control for Sonos with four satellite speakers and one subwoofer. The MAG6.1 package comes with six satellite speakers, one subwoofer and does not include the IPORT XPRESS remote. I hope you found this information helpful. - Answer This system comes with a Sonos amp and four surrounded speakers. You do have to supply the in ground speaker wire. The sound is absolutely amazing No regrets buying this system. Envy of the neighborhood.Hard to keep it turned down. Can control with your phone or a supplied mountable controller. Easy to set up with good instructions.
