Yes. I use a pair as my rear channel speakers. You can use a standard RCA wired connection, or use a DTS Play-Fi WiFi device, such as the Paradigm PW Link, which sends a stereo signal (in my case Left Rear and Right Rear). If you get one speaker, you can use it in Stereo mode (sending it both L+R surround channels). If you get two, you can set one speaker to Left, and the other to Right. I can also play audio wirelessly to the speakers from my iMac via AirPlay.

Yes, It works as surround speaker for my Martin Logan soundbar but only works when you are using 5.1 source. You need DTS app to do the configuration.
